The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), India’s leading non-profit think tank specializing in research in cybercrime, invites senior officers and experts from Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) to participate in an online roundtable titled “Designing the Ideal Cyber Police Organizational Structure & Support System for State Police to Effectively Combat Growing Cybercrime.” The event will take place on January 3,  Friday, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The Need for a Standard Framework

Currently, different states in India follow varying structures and protocols for cyber policing. These differences often result in gaps in coordination, investigation efficiency, and resource allocation. To address this challenge, there is an urgent need to develop a standardized cyber police framework that can be implemented across the country. Such a framework will help unify efforts, enhance collaboration, and ensure consistency in tackling the rapidly evolving landscape of cybercrime.
