Bomb Threat Panic Sweeps Across Major Delhi and Noida Schools

Several prominent schools in Delhi and Noida, including Delhi Public School’s Dwarka and Vasant Kunj units, Mother Mary School in East Mayur Vihar, Sanskriti School, Amity School in Pushp Vihar, and DAV School in South West Delhi, received bomb threats today, triggering panic and an immediate evacuation of the premises. In Noida, Delhi Public School and Apeejay School were also targeted.

The threats, delivered via email, led to the swift evacuation of students as a precautionary measure. According to sources close to the matter, these emails have been traced back to an IP address located in Russia, although it is suspected that the sender might have used a VPN to mask the original IP location. Additional technical analysis revealed traces of the Russian language associated with the IP address.

Delhi Police’s Public Relations Officer further confirmed that after thorough inspections of the schools mentioned in the threat emails, nothing objectionable was discovered, reinforcing the belief that the threats were intended to create panic rather than present real danger.

Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, VK Saxena, has been actively involved, directing police forces to prioritize the identification of the culprits and ensure a thorough search of all affected school premises. In a message shared on social media platform X, he urged parents to remain calm and cooperate with school administrations to maintain safety. He assured that those responsible for causing the disturbance would face consequences.
