What is the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C):

I4C is in charge of coordinating and fighting cybercrime in the country in the best way possible. It works with law enforcement agencies around the clock to flag cybercrime cases so that they can be found and fixed quickly.

In the fight against cybercrime, I4C is a hub. It wants to find research problems and work with universities and research institutes in India and around the world to develop new technologies and forensic tools through research and development (R&D). The goal is to stop extremist and terrorist groups from using cyberspace to help their causes.

I4C suggests that cyber laws be changed as needed to keep up with how quickly technologies change and to help countries work together.

It coordinates all activities related to the implementation of Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties (MLAT) with other countries about cybercrime. It does this in consultation with the relevant nodal authority in the MHA.
