  • Zetter Authentication – 10,000 downloads
  • File Manager Small, Lite – 1,000 downloads
  • My Finances Tracker – 1,000 downloads

Security experts have been identified as the programmes infected by the trojan, and it is recommended that you delete them immediately if you are using them.

“Such a method of distributing Android banking Trojans is extremely hazardous, as victims may remain unaware for an extended period of time and may fail to notify their bank of suspicious transactions conducted without their knowledge. According to the Threat Fabric research, it is crucial for organisations to detect malicious apps and their payloads, as well as unusual behaviour occurring on the customer’s device.

Countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Italy, Germany, Poland, and Spain have witnessed the dissemination of this trojan, and it is quite probable that the trojan will expand even further. Therefore, it is recommended not to download these applications, and if they have already been downloaded, the best approach may be to remove them and find a suitable alternative.
