KOCHI: The skies of Kochi turned into a scene right out of a superhero blockbuster as Paul Robert Jones, a seasoned pilot from the UK, soared through the air wearing a Jet Suit, reminiscent of Ironman, captivating the onlookers with a display of futuristic technology.

The astounding flight took place over the backwaters, leaving the crowd cheering in awe as he circled gracefully before safely landing to an enthusiastic ovation.

The awe-inspiring display was brought to Kochi by Gravity Industries, an aeronautical innovation company based in the UK, in association with c0c0n, the renowned international hacking and cybersecurity conference organized in collaboration with the Kerala Police. Paul Robert Jones, the Head of Flight Training at Gravity, showcased his expertise in the Jet Suit, marking his impressive 527th flight with this cutting-edge technology.

The Gravity Industrial Jet Suit, introduced in 2017, was conceptualized to aid, rescue, and support people in isolated regions during natural disasters, floods, or war zones. This state-of-the-art suit can reach a remarkable speed of up to 80 miles per hour, propelled by the force of gravity, making it a vital asset for swift and effective response operations.
