NOIDA: In a bid to strengthen the digital investigation capacity of the country, the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), incubated by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is inviting students, researchers and experts to collaborate.

The FCRF aims to set up the country’s first and biggest technology aggregator platform, the Future Crime Investigation Lab, where students, researchers, domain experts, start-ups, and enterprises can showcase their skill sets and the latest tools. The Future Crime Investigation Lab is going to be one of its kind as it will delve deep into the technical aspect of cybercrime, computer forensics, technology fraud, e-discovery, cyber security, and much more.

The Lab has identified several broad areas that are the need of the hour for any investigation. The Lab aims to equip researchers and experts with the latest technology tools to tackle the growing menace of cybercrime.

According to the FCRF, the Future Crime Investigation Lab will be a game-changer in the field of digital investigation. The Lab will offer an opportunity to researchers, students, and experts to work together and collaborate to develop new and innovative solutions to tackle cybercrime.
