MoU Between Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University & Future Crime Research Foundation To Combat Emerging Digital Threats With Techno-Legal Research

LUCKNOW: Addressing the ever-expanding challenges of the digital age, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) and the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) have joined forces to pioneer a groundbreaking collaboration. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Thursday, November 2, 2023, sets the stage for an innovative partnership focusing on techno-legal matters, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and policy advocacy.

Driving Extensive Research Initiatives and Policy-Oriented Interventions:

The MoU inked between these two institutions signals a substantial commitment to advancing research in critical domains such as Internet of Things (IoT) Security, Blockchain Technology, Data Privacy Regulations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) applications in cybersecurity, Cloud Security Governance, Privacy-Preserving Technologies, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity Standards and Compliance, Cross-Border Data Transfer, Dark Web implications, and Emerging Technologies’ legal applications.

Collaboration in Various Spheres:

The partnership encompasses a wide range of collaborative efforts. From joint research programs to surveys, whitepaper development, capacity-building workshops, public awareness campaigns, policy recommendations, litigation support, and knowledge exchange platforms, RMLNLU and FCRF have set their sights on multifaceted engagement. Future Crime Research Foundation is an IIT Kanpur incubated NGO that specializing in Research in Cyber Security, Digital Crime, Fraud Risk Management, Cyber Laws and Cyber Forensics. FCRF believes in the idea of India taking a lead in digital space. It aspires to make the country’s critical infrastructures, business, corporate, institutions, and society ready to meet future challenges.
