Amidst scores of cyber crimes taking place across the country, Mumbai police has now unearthed a hacker gang defrauding people in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious loan scheme. Police estimate that the gang in question had made over 11 fake loan apps and have duped over 2 lakh people on the pretext of ‘loan processing fees’ and other documentation charges.
